Museum Security Training

Did You Know?

Our staff has produced and appeared in over 40 training videos, fifty training seminars and hundreds of speaking appearances. Our video training materials train more museum security officers than all other packaged programs combined. Steve Keller has lectured at NYU and Harvard University.

4.  Training on security for non-security staff

5.  “Common Sense Supervision”, a training program for security and non-security supervisors based on the bestselling book by Roger Fulton, PhD.

Mentoring Program

Your security manager may have twenty years of experience with the FBI but that doesn’t assure an understanding of museum security concepts and practices which differ greatly from those in other fields. You can send your Director of Security to our Florida facility to participate in our mentoring program. In a comfortable one-on-one setting we will give him or her a crash course in everything needed to be successful.  The duration of training varies from two to five days depending upon the background and experience of the attendee. Or, we can meet your security director at a client museum with excellent security to show them what their goals should be.

We offer programs tailored to your specific needs as well as Active Shooter programs at your facility.
